You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you haven't played substantially through all of what Lavametric offers (as a rough guide, similar in spirit to Steam's own refund guidelines: if you've barely started, you're covered). This is meant to protect against accidental purchases, technical problems, or the game just not being what you expected — not as a way to play the whole thing for free.
To request a refund, email you@example.com with your order confirmation. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Paddle, our payment provider — this can take several business days to appear depending on your bank/card issuer.
You have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. Because Lavametric is downloadable digital content, this right ends early if you explicitly agree to start downloading/using it immediately and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right by doing so — Paddle's checkout presents this acknowledgment as part of completing your purchase. Nothing in this policy is meant to reduce any statutory consumer rights you have under your local law; where our policy above is more generous than what the law requires, the more generous version applies.
If Lavametric doesn't work on your system and we're not able to fix it, we'll refund you regardless of the 14-day window or how much you've played — that's on us, not you.
This is a starting template, not a substitute for legal review. The EU/UK section above reflects a common understanding of digital-content withdrawal rights but isn't legal advice — worth confirming with a lawyer before launch, especially if EU/UK buyers will make up a meaningful share of your sales.
